Hello, and welcome to the home of the Paid Account Fairy.

If you know someone who is a keen member of the Dreamwidth community, who wants a paid account but can’t afford it, comment here and we’ll see what we can do.

If you are a fellow fairy, feel free just to pick people out of the comments and send them gifts, or leave a comment here if you want to get in contact and be all organised and nerdy about this.

This started in 2009 and is still active in 2017.

I would love to have just one month of paid account just to use DW to its full advantage. I currently have no access to a credit card, nor my car since I am stuck at the dorms so I cannot buy money order at the moment.

I will payback the one month paid account once I get the chance to purchase a Visa gift card.

I was using my account as a base to help people design new layouts for their journal, but that is over now that we're in open beta. My yearly server costs are due this month, so I can't afford to buy a paid account right now, but I will be giving a couple of them away next month to Stargate fans, and probably here, if someone would be willing to help me out.

I would adore just a bit of paid time. I have no excuse, really, but I'm a grad student that just lost the teaching gig that would have funded it for the summer. I'd be happy to pay things forward once money picks up again!

I feel a bit selfish asking, but a little bit of paid time would really make me happy, since financial things are out of my hands, being too young to have a decent job and everything. I'm trying to budget the expenditures I have now so that I might be able to save up for more time.

I resently asked what I needed besides a paypal account to get a paid account. But unfortunatly I do not have a credit card or a bank account. But I would really love some paid time.

I have no way of paying it back anytime soon but I will try to be as active as possible by constributing content to the communities I'm in.
